(Flood Relief-2022)

DISTRIBUTION OF THE RELIEF PACKAGES IN OUR TARGETED AREAS ACROSS PAKISTAN

1. Distribution of Medicine:

Upon the request of Deputy General Health and Health Cluster Baluchistan NCBP/ FACES Pakistan for 1.6 million emergency medicines for the Outbreaks of waterborne infectious and intestinal disease. This was completed effective immediately on priority basis.

2. Medical Camps for Flood victims:

Faces Pakistan in collaboration with Caritas, Austria, provided flood relief victims with free medical assistance in Pishin, Baluchistan. Further such camps were established in rest of the targeted areas as well.

Veterinary camps were also established for the livestock affected by the floods

3. Distribution of NFIs (Non-Food Items) on Emergency Basis:

Non-Food items were being distributed among the families in all the areas selected in the four provinces mentioned above.

4. WASH Activities:

FACES Pakistan and its working partners are committed to making all WASH activities sustainable and adaptive to climate change. In addition to supporting child-inclusive activities, during flood 2022 FACES Pakistan and its working partners delivered over 1,000 clean drinking water sessions to address increasing water scarcity and safe hygiene practices. We are also providing equipment for clean drinking water.
