Our Curriculum: ‘Learning by doing

The Curriculum of our school is based on the model of ‘learning by doing’. Learning by doing refers to a theory of education. This theory has been expounded by American philosopher John Dewey and Latin American pedagogue Paulo Freire.

Pedagogy of Teaching: Insipid Learning

We have taken Sindh Textbook Board’s Syllabus as a guideline to our curriculum and children will be well versed in all the topics as mentioned in the board’s syllabus. The methodology to teach these topics will be improvised to the modern methods of pedagogical teaching and learning. Waldorf education is true ‘Inspired Learning’.

“Waldorf education is not a pedagogical system but an art - the art of awakening what is actually there within the human being.” ~ Rudolf Steiner

Our Teaching Staff:

We have aimed to train our teachers based on the models discussed earlier. Teachers in our Peace Schools are dedicated to generating an inner enthusiasm for learning within every child. This eliminates the need for competitive testing, academic placement, and rewards to motivate learning and allows motivation to arise from within. It helps engender the capacity for joyful lifelong learning.

Future Prospects:

At our Peace Schools, we plan to create an environment that is inclusive of the needs of the communities we are catering. We plan to make these students future peace leaders to the world who will be apt in the art of peace keeping which is the need of the hour and a peaceful future for our world.
